At WoWedit, we believe in giving you ownership over the designs you create. Our licensing terms are designed to be straightforward and creator-friendly.
The specific rights you have to use designs created with our platform depend on your subscription plan. We offer two main types of licenses: our Free License and our Pro License.

Free License Details
Our Free License is designed for personal, non-commercial use. When you create designs using our free plan, you receive the following rights:
- Create and download designs for personal, non-commercial use
- Modify and adapt the designs to suit your personal projects
- Share the designs on social media platforms for personal purposes
- Use the designs for educational or research purposes
Limitations: The Free License does not allow you to:
- Use designs for any commercial purpose (selling products, services, or commercial promotions)
- Transfer, sell, or sublicense the designs to others
- Use designs in client work or for an employer
- Register designs as trademarks or claim exclusive rights to them
Attribution: When publishing designs created with our Free License, you must provide attribution to WoWedit. This can be done by including a text credit such as "Created with WoWedit" where the design is displayed.
Pro License Details
Our Pro License provides comprehensive commercial usage rights. When you create designs using our Pro plan, you receive the following rights:
- All rights included in the Free License
- Use designs for commercial purposes (both personal and business)
- Sell products featuring the designs (physical or digital)
- Use designs in client work or for an employer
- Distribute the designs as part of broader products or services
- Modify and adapt the designs for any purpose
Perpetual License: Your Pro License rights are perpetual for designs created during your active subscription period. This means that even if you cancel your subscription, you retain all rights to use designs created while your subscription was active.
No Attribution Required: With the Pro License, you are not required to provide attribution to WoWedit when publishing or using the designs (though we always appreciate it if you do).
Limitations
Even with our Pro License, there are certain limitations:
- You cannot resell or redistribute the designs as standalone digital files
- You cannot claim copyright or trademark on the raw, unmodified design outputs
- You cannot use designs to train competitive AI systems
- Usage must comply with our Terms of Service
Important Considerations
Legally Protected Elements
While our platform is designed to generate original content, you should be aware that AI-generated designs might occasionally resemble existing copyrighted works, trademarks, or other legally protected elements. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of any design does not infringe on third-party rights. If you believe a design might infringe on existing intellectual property, we recommend not using it for commercial purposes.

License Modifications
We may update our licensing terms from time to time. Any modifications will apply to designs created after the effective date of the changes. For designs created before any license changes, the license terms in effect at the time of creation will continue to apply.
