Last updated: July 1, 2025
At WoWedit Technologies Inc., we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users' personal data. This page explains how we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the EU's comprehensive data protection law.
The GDPR enhances individuals' rights regarding their personal data and places obligations on organizations that collect and process this data. As a global platform with users in the EU, we have implemented comprehensive measures to ensure GDPR compliance.
Our GDPR Compliance Framework
We implement these core principles throughout our platform:
Lawfulness, Fairness, and Transparency
We process personal data lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent manner. Our Privacy Policy clearly explains how we collect and use your data.
Purpose Limitation
We collect personal data for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes and do not process it in a manner incompatible with those purposes.
Data Minimization
We limit the personal data we collect to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.
Accuracy
We take reasonable steps to ensure personal data is accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date. You can update your information in your account settings.
Storage Limitation
We keep personal data in a form that permits identification of data subjects for no longer than necessary for the purposes of processing.
Your Rights Under GDPR
The GDPR provides the following rights for individuals within the EU:
Right to Access
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and information about how we use it. You can access most of your personal information directly through your account settings. For additional data, you can submit a request to our Data Protection Officer.
Right to Rectification
You have the right to have inaccurate personal data rectified, or completed if it is incomplete. You can update most of your personal information directly through your account settings.
Right to Erasure
Also known as the 'right to be forgotten', you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances. You can delete your account and associated personal data through your account settings, or by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
Right to Restrict Processing
You have the right to request the restriction or suppression of your personal data in certain circumstances. Instead of requesting the erasure of your data, you can request that we limit our uses of your personal data.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to obtain and reuse your personal data for your own purposes across different services. We provide a function to download your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
Right to Object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances. You can opt out of certain types of processing, such as marketing, in your account settings.
Rights Related to Automated Decision Making
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer atdpo@playground.ai.

Data Protection by Design and Default
We implement data protection principles from the initial design stages of our systems and processing activities. We limit the collection of personal data to what is necessary and implement privacy safeguards throughout our platform.

We have implemented procedures to detect, report, and investigate personal data breaches. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you without undue delay.
